Hi I'm Rachael
I’m Rachael Parsons Svendsen, M.S., LMFT.
I earned my Master’s in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge. I’ve been walking alongside trauma survivors since 2014.

My work is rooted in creating a safe and supportive space for those who’ve experienced treatment-resistant trauma. This includes members of the queer community, religious trauma survivors, adoptees and foster care alumni, sexual assault and child abuse survivors, and therapists navigating burnout.

I believe that true healing goes beyond symptom management. Trauma is not just stored in the mind—it lives in the body. That’s why I use innovative, body-based approaches to help gently release what has been held for too long.

I hold certifications in psychedelic somatic therapy and Trauma Stabilization Treatment (TIST). These approaches allow us to work with your nervous system directly, helping you find lasting relief that feels safe, grounded, and real.

You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to walk with you.
My Story
I am just like you in so many ways. I have been in therapy for years, been on and off medications, tried all the trauma treatments, and wound up feeling like there was something still missing in my healing journey. I struggled with chronic health issues, physical pain, and debilitating mood dysregulation. Receiving a C-PTSD diagnosis and seeking appropriate treatment have been instrumental in my healing journey. Psychedelic therapy and supportive adjunctive therapies have been instrumental in my path towards wholeness. I am excited to partner with you to support you as you find healing for yourself.
